PhoebeCrowder: My name's Phoebe, i'm 22 and i'm a graduated photography student from Nottingham Trent. I love bashment, dancing and am a little famous for my baked goods. Oh, and I have a 14 year old Kenyan son. No, your math skills arn't a bit rusty- I didn't have a son when i was 8. The story starts five years ago when I moved to Kenya for three months on my Gap Year and came back, not just with memories, photos and the feeling "I had done my part." In fact I came back with life goals, hope, and a bad case of the 'Africa bug'. What amounted was a love so deep and desire so strong to help a young boy called Dossi. Call him what you will- my brother, my son, my soulmate- one thing I am for sure: It was fate my journey took the path it did. And so I sit here five years into this amazing journey that changed me forever. More over it has flourished into a way of life, ambitions for my career and only ceases to fuel my desire to help educate others on the part we must play in helping others. ... @phoebecrowder ...
